McFaddens in the 1790 US Census
Please Note:
– 1790 head of household census data no longer exists for Delaware, Georgia, Kentucky, New Jersey, or Tennessee.
– No McFadden heads of household were listed in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, or Virginia.
– Names are spelled as they were in the census, but by no means should they be considered the “correct” or “real” spellings. Generally speaking, society did not place an emphasis on the spelling of names the way it does now and the spelling of names in census records was often at the mercy of the census enumerator.

Re: McFaddens in the 1790 US Census
Rob, John McFadden b.1706 moved to Rockbridge County, VA some time prior to 1753 when his sons Isaac and John were born. Not sure how the family was missed by the census but in the information I am sending to you by separate cover you'll find a significant number of McFaddens in Virginia prior to and during the 1790 census.
